I have dabbled a little in audio electronics. Some of the projects I've worked include a theremin, a radio transmitter, and a MIDI controller.

Candle Piano

My most interesting audio electronics project was known as the 'candle piano'. It was a university project for my Audio Electronics module. Using an Arduino microcontroller, I mapped a circuit of light sensors to a music generation algorithm in Max/MSP. The MIDI generated in Max/MSP was then sent to Reason to produce high quality musical sounds. The final project worked with six candles. The following video uses a single candle and was the prototype for the overall project.
